Last year on Independence day, Narendra modi had given a speech addressing the people of India from NML college of delhi. His speech was an answer to the Independence day speech given by then PM Manmohan Singh from red fort. Now when Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister of India, he is all set to break the old norms and rituals followed by previous PM's. Usually the copies of independence day speech of PM were distributed among all VIPs and people attending Independence day ceremony. But this time it will not happen. This is because PM Modi will not deliver a written, pre-planned speech from the top of red fort. He will give a spontaneous speech. He will be first PM of India to do so. During election campaigns, his spontaneous speeches were a big hit. BJP hopes this speech of Modi as PM will also be a big hit, as it can influence voters of assembly polls bound four states.
