Two groups who came to watch youth festival in Guru Nanak Dev University on Thursday had a clash between them. Both the groups started firing at each other. The culprits ran away when Police and Security Guards arrived. The incident took place near Arts Cafe of the University. Vishal Sharma, Ex-Student of GNDU came to meet one of his friend and to watch the festival. While they were sitting in the Canteen, boys of the opposing group started gazing at them. Soon after they had a clash between them regarding some old matter. Gurbir Singh from Bhakna took out his pistol and started firing. He ran away immediately after firing along with his friends.
Police has started the investigation and filed a case against Gurbir Singh, Bikka and three others.
