Jakarta: Air Asia Plane that disappeared 3 days ago over the Java sea with 162 people, its Red and White debris is spotted off the coast of Borneo island (Indonesia). Pilot involved in search also spotted objects resembling body and luggage.
The flight had sought permission for ascending to avoid clouds from Air Traffic control of Indonesia before it went missing on a flight from Surabaya to Singapore on Sunday. On the basis of search and rescue personnel observation, several things such as cargo door and passenger door have been found 160 kilometers southwest of Pangkalan Bun in the sea.
Earlier Tuesday Indonesian Aerial searchers spotted items that resembled plane door and emergency slide. Photographer on the search plane said that he spotted objects such as life jackets, life raft and long orange tubes in the sea. One of the Indonesian air official said that they had seen 10 big objects and several small white colored objects which they couldn't photograph.
The plane had lost the contact after about 40 minutes of takeoff. Before that crew requested for a change of flight plan due to bad weather conditions. The Pilot also asked for a permission to fly at higher level before takeoff due to stormy weather but his permission was declined due to huge traffic on that popular route.
During flight, Pilot requested to deviate to left side and he permitted instantly by the traffic controllers. After few seconds, pilot asked to ascend from 32000 feet to 38000 feet but his request was declined as already few planes were flying at that level. This was the the last communication of plane with the traffic controllers.
After 2-3 minutes when controller gave clearance to 34000 feet, plane didn't respond.
