Jalandhar: Best player at CBSE National Games Gujrat, Avneet Kaut Bajwa has now went to Kerela for national games. Her long jump and high jump events are on 12th and 13th February respectively. Once upon a time Avneet's mother asked her for some work and said that if she would not do so, she would have to leave her game.
Avneet is biggest fan of Flying Sikh, Milkha Singh. At that time Avneet called Milkha Singh and asked him to convince her mother to let her play. Her coach Sarabjit said that she is one of the outstanding player that too from school. If she comes in top 5 it would not be a small achievement.
Her mother, Charanjeet Kaur Bajwa told that she was one year old when her father, Jaspal Singh Bajwa made her learn exercise and stretching. Avneet started playing right from first class. After attending classes in school, she used to leave for the practice on track. She was chosen as best athlete at last year CBSE national games at Banaras. Last she was also honoured with Chacha Nehru Award.
