Sangrur MP, Bhagwant Mann was opposed strongly in Mehal Kalan, Barnala, Slogans of "Bhagwant Mann Murdabad" were raised by the people there. According to the information Bhagwant Mann was coming back from funeral ceremony of Kulwant Singh Bhandori's father who is leader form Aam Aadmi Party.
While on the way Bhagwant Mann's car was stopped by people on the road and they started raising slogans against him and tried to attack him but police saved him. People opposing him said that they did this task because Bhagwant Mann regarded volunteers who reached Sukhpal Khaira's rally as RSS workers.
