Punjabi Singers Jelly, Maninder Manga & Songwriter Charanpreet Singh booked for Gang-Rape & Kidnap

Mohali Phase 1 police have registered a case against Punjabi pop stars- Jarnail Singh alias Jelly and Maninder Singh Manga after a complaint filed by a 30 year old Punjabi actress, charging the duo with gang-rape, assault and abduction. She alleged that they recorded the video of the act and blackmailed and raped her several times. She stated that she joined training for singing with Jelly at Sector 57 in July where she was given drugged and raped. Police were not approached as the accused threatened her by uploading the rape video online. In FIR, the actress stated that when she got pregnant, Jelly, Maninder Manga, Songwriter, Charanpreet Singh and their friend Swaran Singh forced her for abortion.
 
FIR stated that later, the victim was kidnapped from Chandigarh on October 17 by the four accused. In the FIR, victim stated that after she was accused, they assaulted her, kicked her in the stomach, beat her up and then threw her in Mohali Phase 1 near a religious place, leaving her for dead. After she regained consciousness, she called a friend for help. After that she was taken to civil hospital, Mohali, for treatment where she called the women helpline number and police number the same day. She stayed at the civil hospital for five days and the case was registered on October 22.
